Join Denis for a plant identification walk in our local environment to discover the flavours of the landscape! This is a guided exploration of the edible and medicinal wild plants that grow abundantly in Calgary. Learn the identification of the plant species that provide delicious edible & medicinal flavours & their culinary potential, sustainable harvesting techniques to guarantee the survival of the plant species, in-depth information related to the healing properties, and traditional uses of these powerful plants.

Maharlika Divas, a Filipino-Canadian dance group based in Calgary, showcasing vibrant Philippine culture through dance. The group actively advocates mental health awareness and women empowerment. Having performed at various cultural events, festivals, community gatherings and celebrations such as Globalfest, Calgary Stampede, and more. They collaborate with other local ethnic dance groups and artists to promote the culture and heritage of the Philippines.
